We want to let you all know more about some of the exciting performers and supporters of Scottish Sports Futures at this years KiltWalk in Glasgow. As well as walking the KiltWalk we hosted the half-way pit stop in Clydebank.
With an amazing line up of performers to motivate and entertain walkers see below for more info on the talented supporters of #TeamSSF. This includes Scotia, Dance Generation and the amazing compere on the day Chioma Ifeanyi Obianinwa.
Scotia is a new original rock band that also play some Indian rock music. Kenny Andrew is lead singer, Mark Morrison is lead guitarist, Stuart Jamieson bass player, Keith Jones Keyboard player, Zak Law drummer and Dharam Singh congo player.
Dance Generation was created by Nicole McCurry who wanted to support other young people to access dance classes but where put off by financial or geographical barriers. Nicole have developed Dance Generation into a social enterprise over the last 18 months and is one of the most popular dance schools in the east end of Glasgow.
Keep fit and active and learn new skills with our dance classes every Friday in urban, modern and tap for ages 8-14, all levels and abilities welcome from beginner to intermediate.
CHIOMA IFEANYI OBIANINWA
Chioma Ifeanyi- Obianinwa (CIO) is a seasoned award-winning international Broadcaster with a decade experience in the Broadcasting industry. She is a multi-talented individual working as a Newscaster presenter, Reporter producer, marketer in several media houses in Nigeria and currently Africa Broadcasting company international (ABCi) Television and radio in the United kingdom where she is freelancing.
Her Professionalism in News presentation won her the Nigerian newscaster of the year award in December 2013.
Chioma has covered some high profile events such as the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games for ABCi Television and 2015 Caribbean Questions Time at Westminster.
She is the Host of the live current affairs show on ABCi radio airing 10am-12noon GMT weekdays www.abci.media
